I guess random gray color would be more appropriate. I meant in between by way of value/brightness too.I'd like to think the amount of detail on the face would give the impression that the hair is unfinished to most people, but apparently I thought wrong. Silly me.
Nose looks oodles better, though i do question a bright spot in the shadow directly by the nostril there. The eyes seem to have been brightened up, too, and seem pretty good there.That said, my preference now leans even more towards the latest one. It looks more refined, mature, and… alive? I guess alive. It's just better all around, you've done quite well with it.I prefer the first one, the darker shading on the face in the second one just doesn't look as good to me. Also the eyes I guess.

SotN is amazing, as is SMT DS2, but God Hand is what puts that list over the top in awesomeness. I know so few people who appreciate that game.
