Do you like awesome music?
Do you like video games? Are you a bassist? Then you need to see Scott Pilgrim vs The World. I myself felt a little off watching that movie because I don't play a musical instrument of any kind (sadly), but I still felt like the movie was entirely my culture; the music is what I love, the fights were awesome and "gamey", and the jokes were relatable. I thought it was funny that the main character was the bassist and this was a video game movie, reminded me of 64Digits. (And yes, there is a bass battle) I don't know what it was about the music; from the background music, to the music that played during fight scenes, to the music the band(s) played, all of the music a awesome. It is definitely a sound track I am picking up (technically that is plural because they split the band songs and the fight music to separate CDs). Fight scenes were awesome especially the fact that everyone turned into coins once they were defeated and a pixelated number representing points would appear.13957Seriously, if you are a part of this generation and gamers and music you must see this film (everyone reading this).I made this blog to get all those Japanese pictures off of my user pageOn a side note, I've noticed that I've been using the <home> and <end> keys a lot more often these days because of the activity feed.
I tried to think of something nerdier, but no, keyboard pretty much takes the lead on nerd-struments.
I'll wait til I can rent it, cuz I'm poor. They do seem to be using that guy an awful lot, I just saw 'Youth in Revolt' just recently.Perhaps the keyboard itself may be nerdier than the bass, but the bass has the highest number of nerdy players. It's a real nerd magnet.
I think its used to try and break out of nerdom, but its not electric guitar so it only half works.
I hate Michael Cera, but I was thinking of watching it as well.
I can also play the keyboard.Coudn't find a decent non-signup link…So, Im watching Inception instead (and yes, I do buy movies and pay for cinema tickets too).
I can understand the hate, he is pretty much the same character in every movie.
And a poor one at that.
He still wasn't the best choice, but I can say I was very satisfied with the movie as a whole despite him being cast as the main character.
"…the fact that everyone turned into coins once they were defeated…"
Wait, what?Bass is for nerds, keyboard… was for nerds in the late 80's?
