Scott Pilgrim vs The World

Do you like awesome music?

Do you like video games?

Are you a bassist?

Then you need to see Scott Pilgrim vs The World. I myself felt a little off watching that movie because I don't play a musical instrument of any kind (sadly), but I still felt like the movie was entirely my culture; the music is what I love, the fights were awesome and "gamey", and the jokes were relatable. I thought it was funny that the main character was the bassist and this was a video game movie, reminded me of 64Digits. (And yes, there is a bass battle) I don't know what it was about the music; from the background music, to the music that played during fight scenes, to the music the band(s) played, all of the music a awesome. It is definitely a sound track I am picking up (technically that is plural because they split the band songs and the fight music to separate CDs). Fight scenes were awesome especially the fact that everyone turned into coins once they were defeated and a pixelated number representing points would appear.

Seriously, if you are a part of this generation and gamers and music you must see this film (everyone reading this).

I made this blog to get all those Japanese pictures off of my user page

On a side note, I've noticed that I've been using the <home> and <end> keys a lot more often these days because of the activity feed.

Wait, what?

You know, like in video games? River City Ransom, et al.

Yeah, but in the movie? I thought it was supposed to be ser.. no, I didn't. But at least a *bit* more serious than that, you know?

That's the joke.

I loved it. It also stopped them from either having to go the "no blood/gore despite a lot of violence" route, which it even dumber, or the "realistic blood/etc." which could have worked but likely would get it an R.

I could give it a try I suppose. Not that there are any good movies coming out in the Netherlands lately. Hmm, neither did Scott Pilgrim. Damn.
