Just got a copy of the new pokemon game today. I've upgraded from Sapphire to White so… I'm not used to seeing pokemon in 3D. Wtf. This is craziness. Doesn't feel the same. I like it, but at the same time, it's not pokemon anymore.
The game is full of effects and scenes that make use of camera movements and the 3D perspective. It's a little much, but it's cool I guess. Haven't gotten that far, just started. Literally bought it 30 minutes ago. Has anyone got a copy for themselves yet? What do you think of the new generation of pokemon?
My brother's girlfriend got one of the games. As far as I saw/heard, there are two things that set it apart from other games.
- The dynamic battle camera and idle animations- The panic music when your Pokemon's life gets too lowI thought it was awesome, but after SoulSilver, I think I'm just done with Pokemon.I never played SoulSilver. Was it bad?
It wasn't particularly bad, but there was something about it that made it a complete turn-off. It may have something to do with the fact that I never played the older games, so I didn't get that sense of nostalgia. I just got, "Yeah, I know what happens here, and what Pokemon I see." And it got boring fast.
I was enthralled with Diamond, so I think it was the innovation that kept me going with Pokemon.Well, I'm starting to like the atmosphere of Pokemon White the more I play it now. The pros are beginning to out weigh the cons as I get further into it.
They srsly need to make a new Pokemon Stadium.
I loved Pokemon Stadium!
They kinda have, Eva unit-01. It's called Pokemon Battle Revolution, but to be honest, it's worse than the original Pokemon stadium.
I know, they have all these others just like it. But I mean, I want another genuine Pokemon Stadium, like…with that actual name. The stadium games were so much better than say, collisaeum and the others.
The soundtrack is pretty bitchin' from what I heard.
The soundtrack is great.
