… so it seems only right that I mention that the biggest 48hr/72hr game jam on the internet is starting on Friday/Saturday.
I personally will be taking part again and I was curious if anybody else was going to.This time I think I'll be tackling the more leniant 72hr game jam, rather than the 48hr competition, because I have to go on a somewhat inconvienient ferry trip on the Sunday. It also means I can work in a team, so if anybody wants to, let me know.There's also a rather interesting $1,250 competition hosted on a different site* which is running alongside 'Dare. Although it appears you'll have to get a US citizen to enter for you.So yes. Discuss, don't discuss, or if your name is colseed, +1 everything you see.*Warning: community may contain arseholes
@Charlie I think "winning" Ludum Dare is near impossible, the best you can hope for is to get in the top 20 for one of the categories. I'd be quite happy with that.

gamething the night before.The last time I tried to join, and attempted to create a warm-up game, I wound up demotivating myself to the point where I gave up. The fact that RPG4D was just starting didn't help either. :P
