I think I prefer this week-long thing…My schedule:
Yesterday: MinecraftToday: Think up all the cool thingstm that I want to add to the game.Tomorrow: Ditch 90% of the cool thingstm I wanted to add to the game. The Day After: Get nothing doneSometime between now and the deadline: Realize that I've only got a little bit of time left and get into full panic mode.Yes, I always play Minecraft yesterday. Saves time.I'm in
Yesterday:
Decided to spend 1 hour starting off. Ended up using half the afternoon. Made an almost complete game, but did not really like it. Game hardly even fits the theme and is too short.Today:Made a simple change to the game, and stumbled upon a fun new mechanic which actually fits the theme. Though to make this work, I will have to scrap almost everything so far. Unfortunately, I must now do uni work.
Edit: Now that I'm looking at it with slightly less tired eyes, it looks almost nothing like charlies games. :|I love it when I can't tell if it's a charlie carlo game or a rez game. :DAcid, that is so obviously Rez.
I mightn't be able to have anything to show for myself by the deadline. I've got 2 assignments to work on, and don't expect to have the time to make anything playable. Not to mention I want to do hand-drawn visuals, but have no way of scanning them, and don't have a decent camera.Perhaps I'll at least share crappy pictures of what I've got so far, instead.dat rez animation style
…you know the legs are actually animated really well. That's it. Rez wins.
It's not a contest, Mega.
