I want to keep an open communication between myself and all of you for the duration of the initial setup and execution of the 64Digits Spring Competition. I'm going to be using this as a sort of training grounds for the full on GAME JAM I'm going to be hosting later this year, OHJAM (which is a separate entity from this competition).Let me know if you have anything to add or have any questions on anything!I respond better to facebook or twitter messages.IF YOU NEED TO CONTACT ME ABOUT SWITCHING/JOINING/LEAVING TEAMS, SEND ME A MESSAGE ON HERE OR AN EMAIL
But if the games are something you don't want/have then it'll won't increase your motivation. I'd say that being a mystery keeps it a middle ground between the two but that's probably not scientifically accurate.
Wow. A site, even. I'm impressed!
This is the most impressive 64Digits competition I've ever seen. Amazing job so far!My spring break ends tomorrow. I've been on it since the 29th. But I don't mind. I probably wouldn't be putting more than an hour or two each day on my project, regardless if I were on Spring Break or not.
Yoyo Games is a Silver Sponsor. I'll update the site when I get home tonight.
Hell yeah. If YYG is sponsoring, that means we get free rein of the GMC.
We've passed the 50 participants mark!
Keep sharing it. I'm going to use the rest of my spring break that I'm not with family or working on my own stuff to promote this! :Dso, it seems I have a team now, can I change that in my entry form thing? I am in the same team as Selly and RC
I think Moikle, RC, and Sel make a good team - they all seem to be good natured and dependable, so don't take this as me talking about them:
Everyone should be careful to make sure you can depend upon your teammates, and they can depend upon you. If you have someone slacking off or preoccupied with other stuff, they might be detrimental to your game when you both could have made some decent stuff individually.@Acid: That's the reason I like to work alone :P
At least I know full well what the extent of my skills are, and can plan accordingly. Oh, and teams tend to somehow slack off more than I usually do on my own. Also, that's a nice number of participants; I'll be looking forward to this.I know full well the extent of my skills, and I still can't plan accordingly.
